Who am I? The answer to that question remains somewhat oblique, even to myself. Suffice it to say that I was apparently born somewhere in the United States before eventually taking root and settling down on the vast prairie of the Midwest. I count myself as a native Kansan, calling the city of Topeka my home. While there I grew to strapping young boyhood on a diet of adventure, intrigue, inspired mischief, and riotous scientific experimentation. Before long my youthful hijinks raised the ire of my parents, who grew weary of seeing my investigations manifest themselves as ever more inventive forms of home destruction. They soon remanded me to the library, where I could learn truth and shape my curiosity into a more constructive force. Spiritually cleansed and philosophically refreshed, the newly hirsute Craig Bennett was then ready to fight the good fight, endeavoring to explore the uncharted unknowns, always in search of scientific truth... |

I am a recent graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelors of science in Cognitive Psychology. I chose Dartmouth for my graduate education because working in the Laboratory for Adolescent Studies presented a unique opportunity to explore developmental, social, and cognitive psychology within the modality of neuropsychological research. In short, I am able to investigate brain development over time and how that change becomes apparent in an individual's cognition and social interactions.
My current professional goals are to complete my PhD and continue to pursue my research interests in an academic setting. When I am not at Moore Hall you might be able to find me on a mountain bike, out with my camera, at the woodshop, or just out on the Green with my laptop being nerdly.
