p. 19 In Fig. 2.8, the pitch angle is measured between a tangent to the
arm and a tangent to the circle at that radius. The tangent to the
circle is not shown in the drawing.
p. 31 J. McGaugh and R. Schombert should be S. McGaugh and J. Schombert
p. 45 The statistical weights are given by g=2n^2 for transitions
between levels. The formula g=2J+1 applies to fine structure transitions
within a level, while g=2f+1 applies to hyperfine transitions.
p. 53 Figure 3.18: horizontal axis number should have decimals: -0.4, 0,
0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0
