Personal:
Professor Rock is known as "Steve" to his friends and colleagues. He has been happily married to Jenny D. Arden since 1983. Steve and Jenny have two children: Andrew (Andy) and Julia. They are active in the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church, where Steve sings tenor in the choir. In his spare time, Professor Rock enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, playing basketball, cooking, landscaping, and doing home renovations and repairs.
