In our second summer of marriage, in Rhode Island, Judy and I came across Volvo's flamboyant two-seater sports car and fell in love with it. We swopped our 1963 Sunbeam Alpine convertible (in which mice had nested and were causing electrical problems!) for this solid hunk of Swedish steel - - it made a much better showing in black and with new Pirelli tyres looked very swoopy and low and sporting! Great for ski trips and there was justroom for a baby crib in the back.
